I really don’t understand what all the hoopla is all about, considering that the US Air Force Space Command has been in existence since September of 1982. The only thing that has happened is that the Space Command is now known as the US Space Force and is now a separate branch of the US Military instead of being an extension of the USAF.

I suspect that the general public will soon be introduced to new and amazing technologies.

Remember this plane…

The B-2 Spirit, also known as the Stealth Bomber? I remind you humans that this futuristic looking aircraft took its first “public flight” in 1989, 30 years ago.
The US military has been working on stealth technology since the mid 70s.

Always remember, whatever the military reveals publicly is likely already obsolete as far as research and development is concerned. I wonder what they have developed over the last 30 years that you humans have no clue about?

For years Torsion Physics has been labeled as Pseudoscience by some in the scientific community. I wonder if that is accurate? Are anti-gravity vehicles out of the realm of possibility? Is unlimited free energy out of the question or is it simply being kept quiet so as not to disrupt the world economy?

Can you imagine no need for petroleum-based fuel or tires? What would such discoveries mean to the “energy industry” which loves having the human race addicted to their products. While we’re on this topic, has anyone ever seen a silent aircraft flying overhead in the darkness of night? By silent, I mean totally quiet, not a sound.

What about Self-guiding bullets?

A sniper bullet that changes trajectory after its been fired sounds totally like the stuff of science fiction. However, it describes a real life project being carried out by DARPA which could soon nullify misfiring problems related to weather conditions, wind or plain old shooter errors. Things that make ya go “hmmm.”

What about orbital weapons?

I keep waiting on Mr. Rocket Man (North Korea) to launch a missile only to watch it explode shortly after liftoff after being targeted by a lightning bolt from the heavens. A satellite in orbit armed with a laser specifically designed for such defensive purposes perhaps? This concept was originally called the (Airborne Laser) weapon system which has been in the test phase since the 1980s.

Just think, if these are the projects that we know about then what kind of futuristic projects are the men and women of research and development working on now? What about Soft Exoskeletons for our troops? Cutting edge technologies can also be used to “supercharge” troops by giving humans enhanced abilities, including faster speeds and greater strength.

I was recently reminded of a quote from Benjamin Robert Rich who passed away on January 5, 1995. He was the second Director of Lockheed’s Skunk Works and is considered the Father of Stealth. “We already have the means to travel among the stars, but these technologies are locked up in black projects, and it would take an act of God to ever get them out to benefit humanity. Anything you can imagine, we already know how to do.”

While some claim he did make the quote, others claim that he didn’t and still others claim he was simply joking. I’ll let you decided what you believe since surely the government wouldn’t lie to us. Sarcasm
Other debated quotes attributed to Rich…

“If you’ve seen it in Star Trek or Star Wars, we’ve been there and done that.”

“We have things in the Nevada desert that are alien to your way of thinking far beyond anything you see on Star Trek.”

I’m gonna say it again, I believe we the people are in store for some amazing technological announcements in the near future. Stay tuned and find out!
