Time Change Wooden Letters

I’ve never fully understood you humans’ thought process behind changing time from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time and back and forth. Neither did Mrs. Monkey who thought that, after the time changed, it would be light out while she was driving to work snicker y’all should have heard her when she got home Monday evening. LOL!

Time is time. You can’t change it.

Days get shorter and nights get longer during the winter and in the summer… days get longer and nights get shorter.

Only humans would think that if you cut off the first twelve inches of a yardstick and taped it to the other end you would somehow magically end up with a 4-foot yardstick. You don’t, you still have a 3-foot yardstick no matter how you cut it. The same goes for time and daylight.

If you humans want an extra hour of daylight why not just get your lazy butts out of bed an hour earlier and enjoy that daylight instead of changing the time that the sun comes up.

Why stop at one hour? Why not set the clocks ahead 2 hours and extend daylight until 9-10:30PM? But remember, then the sun wouldn’t start coming up until 9AM or even a little later.

Here’s a thought, why not just leave time alone? Pick one and stick with it. Standard Time or Daylight Saving Time.

You humans could just let high noon be high noon and let midnight be midnight.
